Accommodation Bookings
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy for accommodations is designed to be fair to both students and landlords.
- Before Landlord Approval: You can cancel your booking request at any time from your "My Bookings" page without any penalty.
- After Landlord Approval (Before Payment): If the landlord approves your request, you have a 48-hour window to pay the breakage fee. If you do not pay within this time, the booking is automatically cancelled.
- After Payment: Once the breakage fee is paid, your booking is confirmed. To cancel, you must use the "Request Cancellation" feature on your booking page. This sends a request to the landlord, who will review it based on your lease agreement terms. UniHub does not manage refunds for confirmed bookings.
Marketplace Orders
Our goal is to ensure a smooth transaction between student buyers and sellers.
- Order Cancellation by Seller: A seller can cancel an order at any point before it is marked as "Delivered".
- Order Cancellation by Buyer: A buyer cannot cancel a confirmed order unless the delivery is significantly delayed.
- Delayed Delivery: If your item has not been delivered within **7 business days** after the seller's estimated delivery date, you are entitled to request a cancellation and a full refund. Please contact our support team through the Help Center with your order ID.
- Disputes: If you receive an item that is not as described or is damaged, please first attempt to contact the seller to resolve the issue. If you cannot reach a resolution, contact UniHub support for assistance.
